FAQ's on the Holiday Packages
Being the very first year for these Christmas packages, there have been a few questions rolling in on them. I thought I would simplify the process and create a list of the frequently asked questions. If you find you still have some questions after reading this, no problem, send me an email.
Do the gift packages need to be used by the end of the year?
No, they don’t! The packages are designed for the receiver of the gift to book a shoot when is convenient for them in 2022.
Can I substitute the print for another digital image?
No, there are no substitutions for print products, or services.
Can I purchase additional digital images?
Yes, absolutely! Each additional digital image is $60 + pst/gst.
What does retouched mean?
Retouching is another way of saying ‘photoshop'. I use non destructive retouching techniques to clean up blemishes, redness, whiten the teeth, eyes, and anything else that is distracting to the image.
Where will the shoot take place?
If it is a studio package that was purchased, it will be held at my home studio in Stonebridge. I will email the location beforehand. If the shoot is chosen to be outside, we will discuss a few different outdoor options.
For the Snapshot Sessions, are you willing to travel to Regina?
I am willing to travel for the solo sessions, however I would have to charge a mileage fee to cover the cost of travel expense and my time traveling. The rate is $.50 per km outside of the city limits.
When will the snapshot sessions take place?
There will be four held throughout the year with the first one taking place on February 20th, 2021.
Can two people use a Snapshot Solo Session?
It is intended for one person only. This way I can better serve the needs of the individual.
Is there a gift card or certificate to give?
Yes! I have beautiful gift cards ready to send to you to have under your Christmas tree. I am able to drop them off or you can pick them up at a time that’s convenient for you.
How many people can be photographed with the Memories with Mom package?
Mom and all of her children. If it is a larger group (2+ children), we can do one group image and individuals with Mom.
How long after the photoshoot until they receive their images?
The images will be ready within three weeks of the photoshoot. Once they are ready they will receive an email letting them know that their gallery is ready to view!
How much are the additional images?
Additional images are $60 up to 10 images, and then $40 each over 10 images.
How long until the gift print arrives?
It can take up to six weeks for the print to arrive depending on the time of year, and how busy the printer is.
How will the images be delivered?
I use a gallery software called Pic-Time. It is a user friendly system, and has many cool features. For example, it has the ability to share with friends and family, and there are professional print options to purchase!
Why is the cost of the Pic-Time store more than london drugs or costco?
The professional print companies use archival ink which means the ink will not fade, they use high quality print paper, and you’ll find that the colour of the prints matches the photos. The cost is more, however you are paying for the best quality products available to display your images, and are sure to last your lifetime and even longer.
When is the last day to purchase a package?
December 24th, 2021 is the last day to purchase a package. If you’re in Saskatoon, I can deliver the gift card to you the same day. If you are outside of Saskatoon, I will send you an image to print to present to your loved one, and will mail the gift card to you on the 26th of December.
